With the ceremonial presentation of the State Prizes and the DAAD Prize in the Grand Hall, the University of Bonn honors – in some cases for many years now – outstanding students and early-career researchers for their excellent achievements and dedication. It is a special pleasure for us to present these prestigious awards again this year in collaboration with the DAAD and the governments of France, Spain, and the United Kingdom. We are pleased to have Abigail Erikson (Head of the new Global Office of UN Women in Bonn) deliver this year’s keynote lecture. In addition to other distinguished guests, the Bonn University Ambassadors (from Australia, Brazil, Ghana, India, Jordan, Canada, and Scotland, among others) will also attend the awards ceremony. The event specifically connects talented individuals with key players in international scientific cooperation at the UN site in Bonn and concludes with a reception and networking opportunity in the Senate Hall.
