DESCRIPTION:With the ceremonial presentation of the State Prizes and the D
 AAD Prize in the Grand Hall\, the University of Bonn honors – in some ca
 ses for many years now – outstanding students and early-career researche
 rs for their excellent achievements and dedication. It is a special pleasu
 re for us to present these prestigious awards again this year in collabora
 tion with the DAAD and the governments of France\, Spain\, and the United 
 Kingdom. We are pleased to have Abigail Erikson (Head of the new Global Of
 fice of UN Women in Bonn) deliver this year’s keynote lecture. In additi
 on to other distinguished guests\, the Bonn University Ambassadors (from A
 ustralia\, Brazil\, Ghana\, India\, Jordan\, Canada\, and Scotland\, among
  others) will also attend the awards ceremony. The event specifically conn
 ects talented individuals with key players in international scientific coo
 peration at the UN site in Bonn and concludes with a reception and network
 ing opportunity in the Senate Hall.
