Empowerment workshop for BIPoC students

In this empowerment workshop, you will have the opportunity to empower yourself in dialogue with other BIPoC students at the University of Bonn and to deal with experiences of racism in the educational context. We will talk about the forms in which racism and other structures of discrimination as well as empowerment have actually had an impact on our educational path. Together we will ask ourselves: What are our resources to empower ourselves? Where are our limits? What are possible strategies at the various levels of our everyday university life?

Together, the two speakers Ifeyemi Erdmann and Shavu Nsenga are active in the counselling collective MAINGA and offer power-critical, intersectional, holistic counselling and educational work.
