The “Quick Wins for Digital Accessibility” project aims to improve digital accessibility in IT applications at the University of Bonn. In order to raise awareness among all staff responsible for creating and publishing digital content, a checklist has been developed as part of the project. It lists the most important points that must be taken into account when creating digital content. This helps to avoid editorial barriers. The underlying standards are the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
A complementary guide provides more detailed explanations and examples for each criterion. The checklists are also highly relevant for the organization of accessible teaching.
